I was working with a local independent paper called "The Nice Paper" - delivering the papers to the northern part of the state, getting ads for my band placed - when I spoke with the editor about publishing a comic strip. I had a character that I had been doodling for a few months called "Coffeema"n who had ended up in a NYC zine a few months earlier that I was thinking could be the focus of this weekly strip.
Below are the strips from the entire run. All were done in my sketchbook with pencil and thin black permanent ink marker. I signed them B.Head, which stands for "Banana Head".
